Here are a few reasons to install epoxy color flakes coating.
1. Customize your floor.
Epoxy flakes come in hundreds of colors. Usually, you'll use a mix of three colors to achieve the ideal balance of contrast.
You can choose an existing color combination, or you can come up with a completely personalized look yourself. You can also decide how big you want the snowflake to be. They range from 1/32 inch all the way up to 1 inch.
2. Cover up flaws.
Looking for a way to hide splices or cracks in concrete? If you only use epoxy, you will not be able to cover up these defects. But when the flakes are added, these defects become invisible.
Are there peaks and troughs in the floor surface? You can smooth them out with epoxy flakes. Larger snowflakes create a flat, even look better than smaller snowflakes.
3. Increase durability.
If you paint the floor with the maximum thickness of snowflakes, they are about 5mm thick. Although they are sturdy, they are also resilient enough to withstand impact. They will help cushion the concrete and enhance its durability.
4. Improve safety.
If you apply a strong coat of epoxy to the floor, it can be slippery, especially if you bring water into your garage. Adding flakes increases traction and reduces the likelihood of slipping.
5. Suppress noise.
If you're tired of every sound echoing around your garage, you'll appreciate how vinyl flakes can help stifle sound.
6. Easy to maintain.
Sweeping or mopping is quick and easy, so you won't spend a lot of time and energy keeping your garage floor clean.
Also, you don't need to worry about sun amber on your floor because vinyl chips are stable when exposed to UV rays. While the surface should withstand wear and tear well, eventually, you may find that it has lost some of its shine. Fixing it is as simple as putting on a new coat.
